16 Month Old Not Talking. My 16 month old doesnt speak a single word - no Mama or Dada absolutely nothing. Shes just started doing a few animal noises with hand gestures shell babble a bit repetitive sounds but she doesnt try to imitate actual words and I cant imagine her ever talking. And talk to parents with kids almost the same age. She cruises along furniture shes been doing that since she was about 12 months but she has no confidence with standing on her own or walking.
