3 Year Old Refusing To Potty Train. We tried in the summer and she was interested but we got nowhere. My first was potty trained in a week while with my step mom when I was away from home attending a funeral and I am completely lost. One was easily distracted and simply never gave himself enough time which got better as. I felt confident that when he was ready to go on the potty regularly he would go and not a day before that.
