4 Cm Dilated 90 Effaced. The nurse is caring for a nulliparous client who attended Lamaze childbirth educa. But you can be 1-3 cm dilated before labor begins. 10 cm dilated 100 effaced and 5 station. The first stage of labor ends when a womans cervix is fully dilated to 10 cm and fully effaced thinned out.
But you can be 50 effaced. I have been trying everything to get labor started. Im well aware that every pregnancy is different but interested in other peoples stories. Appt I was 5 cm dilated and 90 effaced and the baby was well down into birth canal. The cervix must be 100 percent effaced and 10 centimeters dilated before a vaginal delivery. The first stage of labor and birth occurs when you begin to feel regular contractions which cause the cervix to open dilate and soften shorten and thin effacement.
