7 Month Old Not Sleeping Through The Night. I hate to say but I think its quite normal for a 7mth old to be waking a lot of babies are still feeding through the night. He will only fall asleep while he is nursing he will not fall asleep on his own. In fact there is no typical sleeping pattern for newborns. My son is 7 months old he does not sleep for more than 2-3 hours at a time.
